You are buying a licence to display an image and a link on a defined rectangle of the Dock board. You are not buying property, equity, a security, or any interest in Dock or in any company. The licence has no expiry and no rent.
Pixels are non-refundable. Once a payment completes and the block is created, the sale is final. This is stated again at checkout before you pay.
Blocks are reviewed before they go live. We will not publish, and will remove, blocks that:
We may remove content that breaks these rules without a refund. Removal ends the display licence for that content. Every live link is checked against Google Safe Browsing on submission and re-checked weekly; a block whose destination goes bad stops linking out until it is fixed.
Blocks are advertisements placed by third parties. We do not endorse them and we are not liable for any loss arising from a destination you visit from the board. Approval is a moderation step, not a warranty.
Pixels are priced from a published ten-tier ladder, blended across tiers like tax brackets. The price of a purchase is always calculated on our servers at the moment you reserve, and is itemised before you pay.
Resale between owners is not currently enabled. If and when it is, an owner will be able to set a single fixed price, any buyer may take it at that price, and we will keep 6% of the sale. There are no auctions, bids, offers or timers anywhere on Dock.
We aim to keep the board online indefinitely but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If we ever wind Dock down we will give reasonable notice.
